Australia: Melbourne - Down Under! May 2008

My First kangaroos! Sydney Airport.

Yarra river, Melbourne skyline - view from my window.

Melbourne has a beautiful mix of old and new buildings. It must be an architect's paradise here!

Magpie. We ain't got this sort back home :)

Citylink Freeway - again innovative design, Melbourne style.

Melbourne Chinatown - Little Burke Street.

Pigeon management, Batman Park. Basically, pigeon condos.

Nice old tram. Melbourne's a tram city. I find the older ones better looking.

My wheels here - Subaru Impreza. Nice ride but I had to get used to the right hand side driving.

Flinders Station and Eureka Tower.

St-Paul's Cathedral, accross from Federation Square.

Bunjil sculpture in Docklands. The sculpture is inspired by the eaglehawk, believed by the Aborigenes to have created all living things from the land.

Crazy seagull - they're everywhere.
