Australia: East of Melbourne - Yarra Valley and Healesville

Half an hour's drive west of Melboure, is Yarra Valley, one of the best wine producing regions of Australia. Vineyards dot the sides of Maroondah Freeway.
Sulphur crested cockatoos - a common site in the town of Healesville.
Healesville Sanctuary - boasts the greatest number of Australian species. It's not like a zoo. More like a walk in nature. It was naptime for the cuddly koala.
Same for the dingoes,
and the big reds and smaller roos!
Me with friends.
I didn't attempt a belly rub :)
Beautiful eucalyptus trees everywhere,
and also huge ferns.
