Indonesia: Some more animals and Downtown Jakarta

Last Sunday I went to downtown Jakarta. It's a bubbling city, full of contrasts.

Fatahillah square is in the old part of the city, full of Dutch architecture. Cafe Batavia is a must. A beautifully decorated cafe/restaurant where nasi goreng tasted heavenly.

Monas is a very tall tower (132 meters) erected by president Soekarno in 1975.

Jakarta is a city of contrast, with new and old buildings, very poor and very rich, and highly overcrowded. The traffic is fun to watch though :)
